DETAILED RECIPE (BUTTER CHICKEN)
Ingredients:
• 500g boneless chicken (cubed)
• 2 tbsp Butter Chicken Masala
• 1 cup yogurt
• 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• 3 tomatoes (pureed)
• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp fresh cream
• 1 onion (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp kasuri methi
• Salt to taste
• Fresh coriander for garnish
Steps:
• Marinate the Chicken:
Mix chicken with yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tbsp Butter Chicken Masala, and salt. Marinate for 30 minutes.
• Cook the Chicken:
Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until lightly browned. Keep aside.
• Prepare the Gravy:
In the same pan, add butter and sauté chopped onions until soft and golden.
• Add Ginger-Garlic Paste:
Add the remaining ginger-garlic paste and cook until aromatic.
• Add Tomato Puree:
Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil begins to separate.
• Add Butter Chicken Masala:
Add the remaining Butter Chicken Masala and mix thoroughly.
• Combine Chicken and Gravy:
Add the cooked chicken to the gravy and mix well.
• Add Cream and Kasuri Methi:
Stir in fresh cream and crushed kasuri methi for rich flavor and aroma.
• Simmer:
Cook on low heat for 10–15 minutes until the gravy becomes thick and creamy.
• Serve:
Garnish with fresh coriander and a little cream. Serve hot with naan, roti, paratha, or steamed rice.
