Sindhi Biryani Masala delivers the spicy, tangy, and aromatic profile of authentic Sindhi-style biryani. Packed with bold spices, dried plums, and warm flavors, it gives biryani a distinct fiery yet balanced taste.
Ingredients:
• 2 cups basmati rice
• 500g chicken or mutton
• 2 onions (sliced)
• 2 tomatoes (chopped)
• 1 cup yogurt
• 6–8 dried plums (aloo bukhara)
• 2 tbsp Sindhi Biryani Masala
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• Mint & coriander
• Salt to taste
Recipe Steps:
• Soak rice 30 minutes.
• Fry onions golden.
• Cook meat with ginger-garlic, tomatoes, yogurt, masala, and plums.
• Simmer until meat is tender and gravy thick.
• Boil rice till 70% done.
• Layer rice over masala with mint, coriander, and fried onions.
• Dum cook 20 minutes; serve with raita.
